Cookie Policy
Version 0.3 - 1 May 2026
This draft explains Euvyra's intended use of cookies and local storage: necessary storage by default, optional analytics only with opt-in, and no advertising trackers.
Draft status
This policy is a product draft. The final production version must list actual cookies, storage keys, providers, expiry periods, and purposes.
Necessary storage is always on
Euvyra uses necessary cookies or local storage to keep the service usable and secure. This includes security state, Supabase auth/session cookies when account login is enabled, consent choices, local demo state, interface preferences, and privacy request state.
Necessary storage is not used for behavioural advertising.
Optional analytics and product measurement
Analytics and product measurement are off by default. They should only be enabled after a user gives explicit opt-in consent.
The current prototype stores choices locally and does not load a third-party analytics provider.
Current local storage examples
- neara.demo.consents: remembers cookie and product consent choices.
- neara.demo.cookieBannerDismissed: remembers whether the cookie banner has been answered.
- neara.demo.posts, neara.demo.follows, and neara.demo.messages: support local demo interaction state.
- neara.demo.reports, neara.demo.moderationActions, neara.demo.appeals, and neara.demo.incidents: support safety and compliance demo flows.
No ad tracking
Euvyra does not plan to use advertising cookies, cross-site ad pixels, behavioural ad profiles, data sales, or similar measurement. There are no advertising trackers in the first production basis.
Changing choices
Users can manage consent choices from Settings, under Privacy & Safety.
Necessary storage cannot be disabled inside the product because the service needs it for security, preferences, and core operation.
Future production checklist
- List each cookie or local storage key by name.
- State the provider, purpose, expiry period, and legal basis.
- Separate necessary storage from optional analytics or product measurement.
- Keep optional categories off until consent is granted.
